Solars4u Warranty Policy
1. Overview
Solars4u ("Company", "We",
"Us", or "Our") provides warranty coverage for solar
systems supplied and/or installed by Solars4u or its authorized partners. This
Warranty Policy outlines the scope of coverage, eligibility requirements,
exclusions, claim procedures, and customer responsibilities.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure transparency and
customer confidence while complying with applicable Indian laws, including the
Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Warranty coverage begins from the date of system
commissioning as documented in the commissioning report.

Hospitals, NGOs, Educational Institutions, and Tender-Based Projects may vary
according to project specifications, tender conditions, MNRE guidelines, and
contract agreements.

3. Warranty Terms and Conditions
Solars4u is committed to delivering reliable and
high-performance solar solutions. The following conditions govern warranty
eligibility and coverage.
A. What Is Covered
Warranty coverage includes:
Manufacturing Defects
Defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating
conditions.
Performance Warranty
Solar modules shall maintain the minimum performance output
specified by the respective manufacturer throughout the warranty period.
Installation Defects
Defects directly resulting from installation carried out by
Solars4u or its authorized installation partners.
Hardware Failures
Failures of covered components due to normal usage.
Monitoring & Connectivity Issues
System monitoring or communication failures caused by
covered equipment.
B. Warranty Eligibility
Warranty claims will be considered only when all the
following conditions are satisfied:
System Installation
The solar system must have been supplied and/or installed by
Solars4u or its authorized partners.
Approved Components
Only components approved and supplied by Solars4u must be
used.
Proper Commissioning
The system must have been properly commissioned and
documented through installation records and commissioning reports.
Maintenance Compliance
The customer must maintain the system according to
manufacturer recommendations and provide service or maintenance records when
requested.
C. Warranty Exclusions
The following situations are not covered under warranty:
Force Majeure Events
Including but not limited to:
- Floods
- Lightning
strikes
- Earthquakes
- Cyclones
- Fire
- Storms
- War
- Civil
unrest
- Government
actions
Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications
Warranty becomes void if:
- Components
are modified without authorization.
- Repairs
are performed by unauthorized personnel.
- Non-approved
components are installed.
Negligence or Improper Maintenance
Including:
- Failure
to clean solar panels.
- Excessive
dust accumulation.
- Water
stagnation.
- Corrosion
due to neglect.
- Pest
or rodent damage.
Physical or Accidental Damage
Including:
- Broken
modules.
- Cable
cuts.
- Vehicle
impact.
- Falling
objects.
- Human
vandalism.
- Theft-related
damage.
Serial Number Tampering
Warranty becomes void if:
- Product
labels are removed.
- Serial
numbers are altered.
- Warranty
seals are damaged or removed.
D. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Maintaining System Cleanliness
Keeping solar modules and surrounding areas reasonably clean
and accessible.
Preventing Physical Damage
Ensuring that no undue stress, weight, or obstruction is
placed on the solar system.
Providing Access
Allowing Solars4u representatives reasonable access for
inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
Reporting Issues Promptly
Informing Solars4u within seven (7) working days of
identifying any defect or system abnormality.
4. Warranty Claim Process

Step 2: Inspection & Verification

- Warranty

diagnosis will be completed.
Step 3: Resolution
Depending on the nature of the issue:
Repair
Minor faults may be repaired on-site.
Replacement
Defective components may be replaced with equivalent or
superior products.
Refund
Where repair or replacement is not feasible, Solars4u may
offer a partial or full refund based on component value and warranty terms.

6. Warranty Transfer Policy
Warranty coverage may be transferred when ownership of the
property changes.

- New
ownership must be reported within 30 days of transfer.

7. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
After warranty expiry, customers may subscribe to Solars4u
Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
AMC Services May Include
Solar Panel Cleaning
Quarterly or scheduled cleaning.
System Inspection
Performance and safety inspections.
Inverter Health Checks
Firmware updates and diagnostics.
Electrical Maintenance
Inspection of wiring, connectors, earthing, and protection
systems.
Monitoring Support
Remote monitoring and troubleshooting assistance.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Solars4u's
liability shall be limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the
affected component.
- Solars4u
shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special
damages.
- Solars4u
shall not be responsible for loss of electricity generation due to weather
conditions, grid outages, shading, customer negligence, or third-party
actions.
9. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in
accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising under this Warranty Policy shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your City,

Where applicable, disputes may be resolved through
arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
